Effective, Monday 3 November 2025, Forvis Mazars Brisbane will operate as Exant Advisory, and will no longer be a member of Forvis Mazars Group. As we look ahead, we are excited by the opportunities this transition brings and immensely proud of the legacy of Experience and New Thinking that our brand represents. This next chapter is not only for our clients, but also our dedicated team, valued networks, and the firm as a whole.
Since our inception in 1984 by founders Kim Hanrick and Shane Curran, our Queensland practice has evolved from a two-partner operation into a dynamic team of 14 partners and over 160 professionals. While our brand has changed over the years, our focus on long-term relationships and delivering meaningful outcomes for our clients has always remained at the core of who we are.
The name “Exant” is a true reflection of our heritage and vision for the future. It pays homage to our founding firm, Hanrick Curran, and firmly embodies the values and strengths that have shaped our journey. The “Ex” in Exant signifies the wealth of experience and expertise we have accumulated over the past four decades, highlighting our reputation for deep industry insight. The “nt” represents new thinking; a forward-looking mindset, fresh perspectives and innovative solutions tailored to our clients’ evolving needs. At its centre, the letter “a” represents the seamless fusion of experience and new thinking, our pledge to bring together these qualities within a cohesive brand.
Exant is more than just a new name, it is a celebration of our enduring legacy and the cherished tagline “Experience and New Thinking” that continues to underpin our approach and commitment to excellence.
